CORALVILLE- It was another day of total nonstop action as the second-annual IGHSAU girls state wrestling tournament concluded Friday.

Fourteen of Iowa's best wrestlers battled their way through the two-day tournament and remained unbeaten to reach the pinnacle of high school state wrestling in Iowa.

Utterback, a 115-pound junior for Sigourney-Keota, has competed against girls and boys throughout her high school wrestling career. This year’s IGHSAU girls wrestling state championship isn’t her first state appearance. She wrestled in the 2023 and 2022 IHSAA Boys State Championships.
