The second round of the GHSA playoffs is here, and there are six teams from the Greater Savannah area alive, including Benedictine, Calvary Day and Bryan County set to host games on Friday.

Jenkins, which knocked off No. 1 seed Arabia Mountain in its Class 5A opener, is on the road to play Dutchtown, while Savannah Christian is at Morgan County and New Hampstead is at Starr's Mill.

Bethesda Academy is looking to win its first state title when the Blazers play Williamsburg Academy in the SCISA Class A title game Saturday at Charleston Southern at noon.

In GIAA action, Memorial Day is set to play Robert Toombs Friday in a Class A semifinal matchup.
