Game recap: Colts, Anthony Richardson beat Eagles in NFL preseason finale
The Indianapolis Colts beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-13 in Thursday night's preseason finale, but that's beside the point: How did Anthony Richardson fare?
The No. 4 overall NFL Draft pick played the first half, completing 6-of-17 passes for 78 yards, missing on his last 5. He led two touchdown drives and had 5 carries for 38 yards.
He was credited with being sacked once, though that was on a run-pass option. He also escaped rushes for gains on a couple of plays that would've been certain sacks of recent Colts QBs.

Gardner Minshew and Sam Ehlinger combined for 15-of-19 passing for 192 yards, and Minshew hit Kenyan Drake for a touchdown. Evan Hull and Deon Jackson each rushed for a TD.
The Colts sacked Eagles quarterbacks 3 times, though Philadelphia did not play starters.
Colts running back Jonathan Taylor was reportedly in the stadium as he seeks a trade.
The Colts must trim their roster from 90 players to 53 (plus 16 on the practice squad) by Tuesday.
