Lions score 21 points in fourth quarter to shock Bears

All looked lost for the Detroit Lions as they tried to get Dan Campbell his first road win.

However, the Lions never gave up and scored 21 points in the fourth quarter at Soldier Field to escape with a 31-30 victory on Sunday.

The difference could be attributed to a missed PAT by Chicago after a 67-yard TD run by Justin Fields had given the Bears a 30-24 lead.

The Lions trailed 24-10 entering the fourth quarter but got a 9-yard run from D’Andre Swift and 20-yard pick-six by Jeff Okudah to tie the score.

Fields then took off on his TD run, setting the stage for the Lions’ 8-play, 91-yard drive that concluded with a 1-yard run by Jamaal Williams.

Michael Badgley’s PAT proved to be the difference.
