Lions Beat Bears, 20-14

Calvin Johnson had a big day receiving, leading the way to a victory for the Lions against the Bears, 20-14, at Soldier Field.

Matthew Stafford finished with 243 yards on 22 for 39 passing, no touchdowns and two picks. On the Bears side, Jimmy Clausen went 23 for 39 with 181 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick.

Reggie Bush was a focal point for the Lions, running at will on the Bears for 54 yards on seven carries with a touchdown while adding six receptions for 44 yards. Johnson caught six passes for 103 yards.

The Detroit defense was the deciding factor in the victory, allowing only 64 yards rushing and 181 passing while forcing one interception. They got to Clausen for two sacks.

Bears running back Matt Forte gave a standout effort with 55 yards rushing, 40 receiving and one touchdown. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery also had a good game with 72 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The Lions travel to Green Bay next week to meet the Packers (10-4) while the Bears visit to take on the Vikings (6-8).
