Chelsea travel to Leeds United in the early kick-off in the Premier League looking to bolster their push for a top four finish in order to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

A competition the Blues remain firmly involved in, with Thomas Tuchel’s side holding a 1-0 advantage over La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid ahead of Wednesday’s second leg, though their priority would appear to still be the Premier League, with the recent win over Everton cementing their top four credentials and revealing Kai Havertz’s quality. While Marcelo Bielsa’s side will be desperate to bounce back and move up the table after successive defeats to Aston Villa and a 2-0 loss last time out against West Ham.

It promises to be an intriguing game at Elland Road with both managers eager to play positive, entertaining football. The German tactician has shuffled his squad nicely since replacing Frank Lampard, but the difficulty in keeping everybody happy has been seen with Christian Pulisic’s lack of involvement, especially from the start, but Tuchel is adamant the United States star remains under consideration: “He is in my plans, he is an important player. I hope he stays patient, all of my players are competitors and want to play every single minute and this is what they show every day, the hunger and desire and this is what Christian shows. In the beginning he was a little unlucky because we knew how much of an impact he could have off the bench and we used this power and strength from him.”
