Team USA defender and two-time Olympian Lee Stecklein shares what growing the girls' hockey game in the US means to her.

LEE STECKLEIN: It's just an honor to know that we might have had some small part in growing the girls and women's hockey game. I know individually when people come up to you, I'm always amazed at how many people watched that game, stayed up late to see that game, and to know that we were supported here at home as we were. It was incredible, and we're hoping for the same thing this next go around.
I would definitely say it's an intense rivalry-- probably one of the greatest of all time. It's a game we're always looking forward to. You're always, like Kendall said, you don't need much encouragement to get ready to go and play Canada. A lot of history there, a lot of respect, but at the end of the day, it's always a battle.
