LeBron James is the most influential athlete in America, study shows

No one beats Tay-Tay – not even King James.

Akron native and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James tops the list of most influential athletes, according to digital marketing firm Authority Hacker.

Overall, James is the third most influential celebrity after superstar singer Taylor Swift and Elon Musk.

According to their research, James appears in 2.7 million Google searches each month, but oddly the only state where he is the most popular search in the country is Mississippi. He even comes in second to Swift in Ohio.

Don’t worry about James’ popularity or wallet. Being an influencer is big business. James has 158.8 million Instagram followers. According to the survey a sponsored post on his feed could net him $410,000.
