LeBron James, Lonnie Walker IV won’t play versus Heat

The Los Angeles Lakers have already been shorthanded lately without the services of superstar big man Anthony Davis, who has been sidelined with a stress injury in his foot.

LeBron James has stepped things up without his first mate, but he will not be available to play on Wednesday against the Miami Heat, as he is suffering from a non-COVID-19 illness.

Needless to say, that will create a humongous hole in the Lakers’ lineup. Juan Toscano-Anderson, who recently returned from an ankle injury and he has helped them with his defense and energy, will take James’ spot in the starting lineup.

In addition, guard Lonnie Walker IV will miss his third straight game.

On the other hand, Russell Westbrook, who missed the second half on Monday’s win over the Charlotte Hornets, will be available to play.

Los Angeles will certainly need a big game from Westbrook in order to beat the Heat, who have won nine of their last 13 games.
