Le’Veon Bell to make pro boxing debut against MMA’s Uriah Hall on Jake Paul-Anderson Silva card
Former NFL player Le’Veon Bell apparently is serious about boxing.
Bell, who knocked out fellow running back Adrian Peterson in an exhibition last month, will make his pro debut against retired MMA fighter Uriah Hall on the Jake Paul-Anderson Silva pay-per-view card on Oct. 29 in Glendale, Arizona.
They will fight at a contracted weight of 195 pounds, five below the cruiserweight limit.

Bell, who reportedly dabbled in boxing during his NFL career, stopped Peterson with a single right hand in the fifth round of their exhibition at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.
Bell, 30, has relocated to L.A. to work with trainer Justin Fortune.
“As soon as Most Valuable Promotions approached me about joining the Paul-Silva pay-per-view, I told them, ‘I want in,’ and didn’t care who the opponent was,” Bell said. “Uriah Hall is going to feel my punching power and tap out like he’s getting submitted. He is not built like me.”
The 38-year-old Hall (17-11, 14 KOs in MMA) announced his retirement from MMA in August, the month after he lost a unanimous decision to Andre Muniz.
That fight took place at 185 pounds, which means Hall should be comfortable for his fight against Bell. Bell weighed in at 204.8 for the Peterson fight.
“Le’Veon Bell, I hope you bring your best,” Hall said. “I know I will. Thank you to Most Valuable Promotions for the opportunity.”
