We’re at pick No. 249 in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft. Yes, the Chiefs currently have back-to-back picks at the end of the seventh round of the draft.

In the entire history of the franchise, the Chiefs have only had pick No. 249 once. That was back in 1976 when they drafted defensive back Tim Collier Jr. out of Texas A&M Commerce. He appeared in 52 games for Kansas City over the course of four seasons before playing three years in St. Louis and two years in San Francisco.
