Phoenix (45-35) is on a seven-game winning streak after getting past the Denver Nuggets, who were resting multiple starters, 119-115 on Thursday. It has wrapped up the fourth seed in the West, and therefore there is a chance it may rest a few of its regulars itself versus L.A.
If it doesn’t, this could be the first time LeBron James and Kevin Durant go head-to-head against each other since Christmas Day 2018, when Durant was still a member of the Golden State Warriors.
