Lake-effect snow again possible ahead of Bills vs. Dolphins

It’s early in the week, but the Miami Dolphins can’t be liking what they see in the western New York forecast ahead of Week 15.

The Buffalo Bills (10-3) will host Miami (8-5) for a big AFC East matchup. The two sides sit 1-2 in the division, not to mention, the contest will impact both of their overall conference standings with the postseason inching closer.

In the forecast… is a little bit of “what comes around, goes around,” for the Dolphins.

In Week 3, the Miami defeated Buffalo 21-19. In the Florida matchup, it was notoriously noted how the Bills’ sideline was in intense heat while the Dolphins, on the other side of Hard Rock Stadium, were covered by shade.

As it is widely known, that is by design.

What’s not but is likely to happen: Snow in Orchard Park.

The NFL moved Bills-Dolphins to the late-night time slot on Saturday. Bad news for Miami as, according to the Buffalo News, lake-effect snow is set to start hitting the WNY region on Friday evening.

As it’s a few days out and the snow showers are still making their way to Buffalo, it’s unclear exactly how much snow could fall. At this time, it does not appear as if the game would be moved like previously happened to Buffalo’s win against the Cleveland Browns.

Bills Wire will provide any such updates that could arrive throughout the upcoming week.
