Kyler Murray says Cardinals 'going to win a lot of games' in new uniforms
The Arizona Cardinals have a new look.
The franchise unveiled three new jerseys – its first major redesign since 2005 – during a fan-filled event that promised "an exclusive first look into the 2023 season" on Thursday.
"Look good, feel good, play good," head coach Jonathan Gannon said before the reveal.
Quarterback Kyler Murray debuted Arizona’s new "Tough Red" home jerseys. The red monochromatic uniform features "Arizona" in block letters across the chest, the first time the Cardinals' uniforms will display their home state, in addition to "protect the nest" stitched in the collar. The jersey will be paired with matching red pants, socks and a white helmet with an enlarged 3D logo.
"I look damn good,” said Murray. "I just like how they are classic and original. It’s going to be hard to mess these ups. We are going to win a lot of games in these."

Running back James Conner was on hand to model the new "dry ice" all-white away jerseys, which have red and silver stipes on the shoulder pads and "Bird Gang" stitched in the collar. It will be paired with white pants, white socks and a white helmet.
The Cardinals also unveiled an all-black alternate jersey that can be worn during two regular-season games.

New look in turbulent time for team
The Cardinals' new jerseys could provide a boost of morale that the players and fans desperately need during a turbulent offseason after the team finished 4-13 last season.
Kliff Kingsbury (fired) and future Hall of Famer J.J. Watt (retired) are out. First-time head coach Jonathan Gannon is in, but that's not the only personnel changes expected. Star receiver DeAndre Hopkins and safety Budda Baker have both reportedly requested trades from Arizona and quarterback Kyler Murray, the fourth highest-paid quarterback in 2023, is expected to miss a portion of the season after tearing his ACL in December.
In the NFL Players Association's inaugural report cards, based off surveys from 1,300 players across the league, the Cardinals were ranked the 31st out of 32 teams. Arizona received an F grade in five of the eight categories – treatment of families, food service/ nutrition, weight room, training room and locker room – and owner Michael Bidwell was voted as the least likely owner to invest by players.
Bidwell has faced accusations of cheating, discrimination and harassment from a former Cardinals executive, according to a copy of an arbitration claim obtained by USA TODAY Sports.
Terry McDonough filed the claim Tuesday to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, saying that Bidwill forced himself and former head coach Steve Wilks to communicate with ex-general manager Steve Keim – then on a five-week team-issued suspension after pleading guilty to extreme DUI – via burner phones.
