Oregon (4-2) at Baylor (6-0)

About the matchup: The Ducks won’t have a lot of time to lick their wounds after a 91-60 loss to Portland on the road Thursday. A bigger road test awaits Sunday when Oregon takes on undefeated No. 13 Baylor in Waco. The game is the first part of a home-and-home series that will complete its last leg next season in Eugene when the Bears make a return trip.

About the Ducks: Sophomores Grace VanSlooten and Chance Gray continue to lead the Ducks, averaging 16.3 and 13 points per game, respectively. VanSlooten also leads the Ducks in rebounds with 10.5 per game. Other than those two, the Ducks have struggled to score consistently. Sofia Bell is averaging 10.7 points per game, and Phillipina Kyei is averaging 10.7 points, but the Ducks as a team are shooting 41% from the field and 30.6% from 3-point land.

About the Bears: Already proven Pac-12 killers, the Bears took down No. 12 Utah 84-77 in Waco and will be heavy favorites to repeat the feat against the Ducks Sunday. Baylor has won every other game by double digits and has five players that average double-figure scoring: Dre’una Edwards (13.7 PPG), Sarah Andrews (12.8 PPG), Darianna Littlepage-Buggs (11 PPG), Aijha Blackwell (10.7 PPG) and Bella Fontleroy (10.7 PPG). Lead guard Jada Walker also averages 8.5 points and 4.2 assists per game for the Bears.
