What to know as Cincinnati Cyclones face elimination in ECHL playoff vs. Toledo Walleye

Cyclones Head Coach Jason Payne has had to work through the challenge of a constantly changing roster this season.

The Cincinnati Cyclones face an elimination game tonight against the Toledo Walleye in game four of a seven-game series in the second round of the ECHL Playoffs.

Cincinnati is the top seed in the Central Division bracket, but fell behind 3-0 in the series after the Walleye won the first two games at Heritage Bank Center and got to the verge of clinching with a 2-1 win Wednesday night at Huntington Center in Toledo.

The Cyclones will need to win out to avoid being bounced from the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the second straight year by the Walleye.

If Cincinnati wins tonight, they'd need to win again Saturday and then Wednesday and Thursday at Heritage Bank Center to complete the rare come-from-behind 4-3 series win.

Is a reverse sweep possible for the Cyclones?

The Cyclones actually were the first team in ECHL history to complete a reverse sweep to advance in the playoffs. Cincinnati came back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Reading Royals in that season's Eastern Conference Finals. The Cyclones then went on to win the Kelly Cup, which is the third championship in team history.

How to watch/listen to the Cyclones vs. Walleye

How to get Cyclones tickets if they win the next two games
