If you had your finger gruesomely ripped off during an MMA match, no one would blame you for taking a few weeks off. Khetag Pliev doesn't see it that way. Less than a week after having his finger ripped off during a match, Pliev is already back to training, according to TMZ.

Pliev sent video to TMZ in which he can be seen jogging and running sprints. At the end of the video, Pliev shows off the cast or splint on his left hand. Pliev tells viewers, "Finger back in place. One finger, for one contract in UFC. Back to training. Praise god."

Doctors were able to re-attach Pliev's left ring finger following his match with Devin Goodale on Thursday. After that match, Pliev posted a picture from the hospital informing his fans we was doing OK. That picture, thankfully, is safe for work!

Pliev is hoping his new notoriety — and toughness — will lead to an opportunity with UFC. Pliev, 37, is 5-2 in his MMA career, which started in 2015. UFC president Dana White was reportedly impressed by Pliev's toughness, according to TMZ.

That's probably not enough to earn Pliev a contract with UFC, which is probably why Pliev is already getting ready for his next fight.
