- The progress made by Kevin Porter Jr. Is something the Houston Rockets can be proud of. He's providing top-40 value in nine cat formats over the last two weeks, averaging 19.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.7 steals, and 2.4 three-pointers in 36.9 minutes, while shooting 46.5% from the field and 84.8% from the foul line.

Where Porter has also made strides is in the turnover department. In 40 games before the all-star break, he was responsible for 3.6 turnovers per game. Porter averaged 4.1 turnovers per night in November and 3.7 in December.

He started to turn things around in January before a foot injury sidelined him for more than a month, and Porter has accounted for just 2.5 turnovers per game in 12 appearances since the all-star break. Whether or not he's still viewed as Houston's point guard of the future, Porter's improved play is a positive development for him and for the franchise.
