Kevin Durant remains unavailable for Nets vs. Clippers

Kevin Durant’s hamstring continues to be an issue for the Brooklyn Nets forward. Steve Nash revealed on Saturday that the forward will not be available for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Nets remain without a timeline for Durant’s return to game action.

“Still just trying to regain that strength and go through his rehabilitation,” Nash said of Durant. “I keep saying I don’t think it’s a long-term thing, but there [are] elements of maybe it taking a few more days or just being cautious. I think, right now, both are necessary.

“I don’t think [Durant is] ready. I think he needs more time, but we’re also definitely going to be cautious. So. he’ll be out tomorrow.”

Nash did add he expected Durant to so some “very light” work on the floor “as a part of continuing to progress.”
