Kennedy Chandler scores eight points in Team USA victory
Tennessee basketball player Kennedy Chandler posted a solid effort for the USA Basketball U19 World Cup Team in Latvia.
Chandler, an incoming freshman for the Volunteers, recorded eight points, seven assists, four steals and three rebounds in Team USA’s, 132-60, victory over South Korea in the Round of 32 of the U19 World Cup.
USA Basketball is now 4-0. The tournament continues Thursday with a quarterfinal contest against Senegal.
Tipoff is slated for 11:30 a.m. EDT and the game will be streamed on USA Basketball’s YouTube channel.
Team USA is coached by TCU’s Jamie Dixon.
