KCC Men Win Playoff Game

The KCC men's team kept its season going with a 69-61 win over Southwestern Michigan College on the road in the first round of the NJCAA Division II Great Lakes District A men's basketball tournament.

With its first postseason victory since 2020, KCC (21-5) advances to face Lakeland CC in the next round on Friday at Mott Community College.

The Kellogg CC men's basketball team was making its third straight postseason appearance after winning 20 games in the regular season. Now, 21-5, the victory total is the most for the KCC men since 2007.

Mikial Miller led KCC with 18 points with Sam Hoskin adding 10 points and 12 rebounds and Ke'Marion Tucker chipping in 11 points and four rebounds.
