Kansas City Chiefs pick OL Hunter Nourzad in Round 5 of 2024 NFL Draft.

The Kansas City Chiefs selected Penn State football offensive lineman Hunter Nourzad with the 159th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Nourzad was the 24th selection of Saturday's fifth round. He was the sixth Nittany Lion chosen overall and the second on Day Three, following tight end Theo Johnson (New York Giants, fourth round).

The former Ivy League tackle made an impressive transition from guard to center last season for the Nittany Lions. The ever-versatile lineman seemingly improved his blocking consistency while anchoring the offense up front.

Hunter Nourzad's best highlights at Penn State

He gave a standout effort in his fourth game at center, the Whiteout victory over Iowa. He handled the Hawkeyes up front, helping lead PSU to 215 rushing yards and scoring drives of 10, 12 and 15 plays. The Lions held the ball for 13:26 of the third quarter.
