Joey Votto 0 for 5, but Louisville Bats top Columbus Clippers on wild pitch in ninth inning

Tuesday's game: Louisville 6, Columbus 5

Recap: The Bats scored twice in the ninth inning for the comeback victory. Jacob Hurtubise doubled in Alejo Lopez and moved to third on the throw home. He then scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch by Jhon Romero. The Clippers went down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the ninth. Oscar Gonzalez homered for Columbus in the fourth inning, but the Clippers managed just five hits. Hunter Gaddis (1-3) took the loss in relief, allowing four runs on five hits in four innings.

Of note: Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto was 0 for 5 for the Bats and is hitting .143 in his rehab stint.
