- 76ers center Joel Embiid has scored 30 points or more in nine of his last 11 games, most recently putting up 33 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in a February 3rd win over Sacramento. During this stretch, the MVP candidate is averaging 33.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.5 blocks, and 1.5 3-pointers per game, shooting 54.0% from the field and 85.9% from the foul line.

In addition to his individual achievements, the 76ers are only a game behind Boston and Denver in the loss column for the league's best record. Leading Philadelphia past those teams could be what gets Embiid that elusive MVP honor.
