Joe Harris’ impressive streak snaps in win over Hawks

The Brooklyn Nets walked away with the win on Wednesday, starting yet another streak. After winning back-to-back games against the Miami Heat at Barclays Center, the Nets found themselves back in an overtime battle on the road. But unlike their double-overtime battle with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Nets were on the right side of things in the 132-128 finish against the Atlanta Hawks.

While James Harden, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving all had strong offensive performances in the win, Wednesday was not Joe Harris’ best shooting night. Brooklyn’s shaprshooter score six points on 3-for-6 shooting before fouling out of the game. More importantly, only three of Harris’ field goal attempts were 3-pointers — and he did not knock down one of those attempts.

Harris had made 3-pointers in 79 consecutive games entering Wednesday, which is a franchise record. The last time he didn’t make a 3-pointer in a regular season game November 11, 2019 against the Phoenix Suns.
