New Jersey 3-star defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins is Tennessee Vols football's latest 2022 commitment
Notre Dame (New Jersey) High School defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins committed to Tennessee Vols football on Saturday, becoming the 21st known commitment in the 2022 class.

Jenkins, at 6-foot-6, 260 pounds, committed to the Vols over Boston College, Pitt and West Virginia, all schools that he officially visited according to 247Sports.
Jenkins' final visit came this week in Knoxville, and he committed soon after.
The Trenton, New Jersey, native is a three-star prospect in 247Sports' rankings, and is ranked as the No. 26 prospect in New Jersey in the 2022 class.
Jenkins is the fifth defensive lineman in the Vols' 2022 class. The other 20 commitments signed with Tennessee in December's early signing period. National Signing Day is Wednesday.
