Is Jaylen Brown’s recent slump something we should worry about?

The Boston Celtics have had a less-than-ideal start to the 2023-24 NBA season after stumbling for two straight games in the wake of a hot streak for the first five games of the season and recently extended Celtics star Jaylen Brown has not been living up to his new deal in the eyes of some. In a recent game against the Philadelphia 76ers, they faced a disappointing loss as Brown nearly shot the team out of the game on his own, going 4-of-13 on the night after a few late makes made his outing less of a total disaster.

Is this a short-term slump or something Boston fans should be concerned about? The Celtics will need Brown as the best version of himself to compete for a title regardless of how much he makes, and he is still showing that making good decisions is a challenge for him.

The host of the CLNS Media “Bob Ryan, Jeff Hoodman, and Gary Tanguay” podcast weighed in on Bad Decisions Brown and whether it’s a slump or a feature on a recent episode.
