Yahoo Sports’ lead draft analyst Eric Edholm shares his evaluation of the Alabama wide receiver.

[SOUND EFFECTS] [MUSIC PLAYING] ERIC EDHOLM: Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams, one of the more fascinating projections in this year's draft, might have been a top 10 pick. But he suffered a torn ACL in the National title game. How far will that injury cause him to drop. On the upside, Williams offers feel tilting, game-changing speed. His big play production last season was flat out absurd-- 11 TDs of 30 yards or longer and four of those with 70 plus yards. He's also got nice length to make plays outside of his frame. On the downside, Williams' ACL recovery likely is going to wipe out a big chunk of his rookie season. Plus he was kind of a one year wonder before 2021, doing very little at Ohio State before transferring to Alabama. Our comp, we sort of see him as a mash up of Brandin Cooks and former Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith.
