James Harden leads Nets to ridiculous comeback win over Suns
James Harden has played very well on a nightly basis since joining the Brooklyn Nets, but he took things to another level on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns. Quite frankly, The Beard had to with Kevin Durant (hamstring) and Kyrie Irving (back) out of the lineup.
With his fellow superstars watching on Brooklyn’s bench, Harden had his highest-scoring night as a Net, finishing with 38 points on 14-for-22 shooting from the floor (5-for-11 from deep) and 5-for-5 shooting at the free-throw line to lead his team to a 128-124 win in a huge comeback effort, trailing by 20 at the half and as much as 24 in the first half.
The Nets point guard also wound up with yet another double-double, logging 11 assists in 37 minutes. Harden now has four 30-plus-point, 10-plus-assist games as a Net — that’s the most by a Net in a single season in Devin Harris also had four in 2008-09.
