Although there are still several months before the much-anticipated fight between "The Problem Child" Jake Paul, 27, and "Iron" Mike Tyson, 57, many former fighters are weighing in on whether a former YouTuber turned fighter could stand a chance against a former heavyweight champion and one of the most feared men on the planet, even as Tyson approaches 60 years old.

Each new piece of information that emerges about the fight is met with intrigue. How is each fighter preparing? Will this be an official bout or just an exhibition? Will the fight even happen? Although the fighters have signed their contracts, trained tirelessly, and marketed the fight to no end, there is still no guarantee that the fight will be approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR). Although both fighters allegedly have much respect for one another, the two can't stop jawing ahead of their tilt. USA Today's Josh Peter reports that Jake Paul believes Tyson is underestimating him. When asked last Wednesday what he would do if Tyson tried to bite his ear off, Paul responded "He can’t bite my ear off if I knock his teeth out."

Paul did eventually step back from that confident statement though and gave Tyson his well-earned respect. When presented with the videos of Tyson training for this fight, Paul said "He looks like a beast. He’s a dog. He’s 'Iron' Mike Tyson." Paul didn't take long to admit that he's not scared of him though.

"I believe I have what it takes to beat him and I know this is the toughest test of my life and it’s an honor to be in there with Mike." Paul finished by stating, "At the end of the day I’m going to be the one who gets my hand raised."

Of course, the rules surrounding the fight are still unclear. Although the date was announced in March, there is still no official indication of whether or not the fight will be a sanctioned pro match or an exhibition. That said, Tyson has recently come forward to claim that the match will be an exhibition. That has not been confirmed though. There's been no word on how many rounds there will be, how long the rounds will be, and how heavy the fighters' gloves will be as well. Although representatives for the bout still have time to inform the TDLR of everything listed, it's shocking that a fight this public does not have more official information available with just a few months until the big day.

Michael Jai White: "Jake Paul doesn't stand a chance"

In a recent interview on Vlad TV, White, an esteemed martial artist and actor, said that Jake Paul does not stand a chance against Mike Tyson. "I see Mike Tyson punching Jake [Paul] in the body, and I don't know how Jake stops that," White said. "[Paul] is not of the size to give Mike a problem."

While Paul has historically fought in a lower weight class than heavyweight, which will be the designation for his fight with Mike Tyson, Paul has admitted that he is going to put on more weight in order to prepare for that change. Still, his unfamiliarity of fighting opponents in Tyson's weight class could prove a massive advantage for Iron Mike.

Nate Diaz: Tyson will win

In a quick moment with media, Diaz, an esteemed UFC fighter told reporters that while he "doesn't give a f**k" about the fight, he quickly changed his tune and said "Nah. Mike Tyson."

Lennox Lewis: "I don't want [Jake Paul] to get hurt"

After Tyson revealed that the match would be an exhibition, former heavyweight champ Lennox Lewis told TMZ that he was glad it was going to be an exhibition because he didn't want Jake Paul to get hurt, even claiming Paul was "lucky" the fight was an exhibition. That alone shows how much faith Lewis has in Tyson, despite Lewis having defeated Tyson in 2002. Most people assume that Tyson will be the one in danger of getting hurt, considering he is three decades older than Paul. However, Lewis must believe Tyson still has a lot left in the tank.

A month ago, Jake Paul was a huge favorite according to DraftKings sportsbook, sitting at -360 odds. Tyson was given +300 odds. Although some sportsbooks have listed different odds, offering Tyson much more favorable chances, no official odds have been listed in April on DraftKings.
