Larson, Sifuentes voted A-J fans' choice baseball, softball preseason players of the year
Lubbock Christian's Cade Larson and Lamesa's Zoey Sifuentes were voted as fans' choice baseball and softball preseason players of the year, respectively.
Larson, a senior, was 10-3 on the mound in 2023, sporting a 2.62 ERA with 92 strikeouts in 72 innings. He batted .465 with a .596 OBP, 15 RBI and 24 runs.
The junior shortstop Sifuentes was the district's offensive MVP last season. She hit .573 with 17 home runs and 39 RBI. She also had a .984 fielding percentage.
