Injury Report: Andre Iguodala ruled out for Game 2 of NBA Finals vs. Celtics

Trailing 1-0 in the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors will have to even the series against the Boston Celtics without a key veteran off the bench. Prior to Game 2 on Sunday evening in the Bay Area, the Warriors ruled out Andre Iguodala due to right knee inflammation.

Iguodala is considered day-to-day going forward after his knee swelled on Saturday before Game 2 per Steve Kerr.

Iguodala missed the second-round series against the Memphis Grizzlies and Western Conference finals against the Dallas Mavericks due to a neck injury. The veteran forward made his return to the lineup on Thursday in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

During Game 1, Iguodala tallied seven points on 3-of-4 shooting from the floor with three assists in 12 minutes off the bench. Without Iguodala, the Warriors could lean on Otto Porter Jr. and Gary Payton II off the bench against the Celtics in Game 2.

Game 2 is set to start at 5 p.m. PT on Sunday evening in San Francisco.
