Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 13 game

Week 13 could have featured a battle of All-Pro running backs who have struggled to find their footing this season, but it wasn't to be.

The Tennessee Titans (4-7) snapped a three-game win streak last week and head into a home matchup against AFC South foe the Indianapolis Colts (6-5) who will be without Jonathan Taylor following thumb surgery.

The Titans beat the Carolina Panthers 17-10. Derrick Henry had 76 yards and two rushing touchdowns for the first time this season.

The Colts are riding a three-game win streak after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-20. Taylor had 91 rushing yards, his second-highest total this season, and also had two touchdowns in the effort.

Indianapolis won the first matchup 23-16 in Week 5 when Anthony Richardson suffered a shoulder injury that would require season-ending surgery. Gardner Minshew went 11-of-14 for 155 yards in relief and Zack Moss had 23 carries for a career-high 165 yards and two scores. It was Taylor's first game back from an ankle injury and he played for 10 snaps with six carries for 18 yards and 1 catch for 16 yards. Henry had 13 carries for 43 yards and three receptions for 19 yards.

Since then, the Titans have also made a quarterback change and have rookie Will Levis as their starter.

Will the Colts sweep without Taylor? Or will the Titans come out on top with their own star running back?

Lorenzo Reyes: Colts 21, Titans 16

This is an interesting one because these teams know each other well, but Indy has far and away been the more consistent team this year. That and Tennessee may be getting an undue boost after beating a Panthers team that has been in disarray. With the line near a pick ‘em, the Colts are the safer play.

Tyler Dragon: Colts 20, Titans 17

The Colts have quietly won three straight games and would be in the playoffs if the postseason started today. Indy has won games without their star running back. The Colts’ defensive game plan will be to contain Derrick Henry and force Will Levis to make plays.

Safid Deen: Colts 24, Titans 16

Jonathan Taylor’s thumb injury could limit the Colts, but they haven’t had many issues moving the ball or scoring this season. Indy has won three in a row, while Tennessee has won one of its last four games and failed to score more than 17 in that stretch.

Victoria Hernandez: Titans 20, Colts 17

The Titans have some momentum behind them after snapping their three-game losing streak. Yes, it was against the lowly Panthers, but a win is a win. They’re at home again and, if Derrick Henry can keep his game going strong while Jonathan Taylor is out, there’s a good chance that Tennessee can notch the win.

Jordan Mendoza: Colts 23, Titans 20

Don’t look now, but Indianapolis would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. While they’ve benefited from a soft schedule recently, the defense has made great strides in not giving up as many points. The health of Jonathan Taylor will be something to watch, but the Colts hold on for another win.
