Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 3 game

Editor’s note: Follow all the NFL Week 3 action with USA TODAY Sports’ live coverage.

The Baltimore Ravens (2-0) have been banged up, but are undefeated so far. They are set to host the Indianapolis Colts (1-1) Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.

Veteran Lamar Jackson tossed two touchdowns for the Ravens in a Week 2 win against the Cincinnati Bengals without injured running back JK Dobbins. Odell Beckham Jr. also got hurt in the game.

Rookie Anthony Richardson suffered a concussion in the Colts' win against the Houston Texans. His backup, former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew, was able to finish the victory without star rusher Jonathan Taylor.

In this matchup, Minshew might keep the reins for the Colts offense while Richardson recovers and Taylor sits out yet again on the PUP list.

The last time these two teams met was in 2021 when Baltimore won 31-25 in overtime. Jackson had four touchdowns and the Ravens defense held Taylor to 53 yards on the ground.

Lorenzo Reyes: Ravens 23, Colts 19

A banged-up Baltimore looked solid against the Bengals, but at some point, you have to think that its injury issues will be costly. Still, Gardner Minshew played well in relief of Anthony Richardson, so I think this game is closer than many are thinking.

Tyler Dragon: Ravens 26, Colts 16

The Ravens look primed to reclaim the AFC North after beating the Texans and Bengals to begin the season. Lamar Jackson is playing like the best QB in the AFC North and Baltimore’s defense is making timely plays. The Ravens, despite some injuries, have a more talented roster than the Colts.

Victoria Hernandez: Ravens 24, Colts 17

Anthony Richardson was the spark for the Colts offense without Jonathan Taylor. With star running back and rookie quarterback (most likely) out, Gardner Minshew doesn't have the juice to power Indianapolis past Lamar Jackson playing at home.

Jordan Mendoza: Ravens 27, Colts 16

The Colts offense looks promising with Anthony Richardson, but it will be tough to compete against Baltimore if he’s unavailable. The Ravens defense makes it tough for Indianapolis and has a dominant home win.
