After a historic season that saw the Indiana women's basketball team earn its first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, IU announced a twist to the upcoming season's ticket options.

According to a release, tickets for the 2023-24 season are now on sale and fans will have a new reserved ticket option.

"Reserved season tickets will be available for the upcoming IU Women’s Basketball season on the east side of the Main Level of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, Rows 1-25," the release noted. "Adult reserved season tickets are $112, while reserved senior season tickets (65+) and youth season tickets (18-and-under) are $48. IU faculty and staff can purchase reserved season tickets for $80."

The rest of the arena will remain general admission. Seating will be able on a first-come, first-served basis. General admission season tickets for adults are $96 and $80 for youth and seniors.

IU said the new ticket option is in response to an overwhelming demand from fans for reserved season tickets.

"In the last three years, Coach Teri Moren’s program has seen its average home attendance increase more than 200 percent, with a program-record average home attendance of 8,104 in 2022-23," the release said. "IU ranked second in the Big Ten and in the top 10 nationally in average home attendance during its recently completed Big Ten Championship season."

Last season, the program broke its attendance record on several occasions. The 2023-24 squad will feature four returning starters from the 2022-23 team that went 28-4 overall and won its first ever outright Big Ten championship.
