Houston Texans at Cincinnati Bengals: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 10 game

An offensive explosion could be in store at Paycor Stadium on Sunday when the Cincinnati Bengals (5-3) host the Houston Texans (4-4).

C.J. Stroud was the star of the NFL in Week 9 as he put up a rookie-record 470 yards in a thrilling comeback win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He's been by far the best first-year signal caller this season, as the Texans passing game is fourth in the NFL with 264.1 passing yards per game, as it's been an impressive first half of the season for DeMeco Ryans' squad.

Cincinnati is clicking on all cylinders right now as they've turned a 1-3 start into a four-game winning streak, the latest victory coming against the Buffalo Bills. The defense was able to hold Josh Allen in check, while Joe Burrow seems to be back to his normal self after starting the year injured, making the Bengals another threat to make the Super Bowl.

Lorenzo Reyes: Bengals 29, Texans 21

Cincinnati is on a tear, winning and covering each of its past four games. Its defense is bend but don’t break. While the Texans have been a nice story, this will easily be their toughest test since the Week 1 opener against the Ravens. One thing to watch, though, with C.J. Stroud playing very well, this is a candidate for the over.

Tyler Dragon: Bengals 26, Texans 21

Are the Bengals playing the best football currently in the AFC? Cincinnati has wins over the Seahawks, 49ers and Bills during their four-game winning streak. In Week 9, C.J. Stroud passed for the most yards in a game by a rookie in NFL history. The Bengals' defense is going to cause the rookie some problems.

Safid Deen: Bengals 27, Texans 23

Stroud put the NFL world on notice with his record-setting performance last week, and the Texans appear to finally be trending upward after years of rebuilding. But Joe Burrow and the Bengals are ascending at the right time this season, and have another postseason run on the horizon if they continue to stay healthy and dynamic offensively.

Victoria Hernandez: Bengals 27, Texans 20

The Bengals are riding high on a four-game win streak, including victories over the 49ers and Bills. Stroud is making history as a rookie, but it won’t be enough to match Joe Burrow’s experience and ability to use the many tools at his disposal, including Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Jordan Mendoza: Bengals 34, Texans 24

Houston has shown it can put up big points but also has some weeks when it falls flat. They've been a great story this season, but they get the unfortunate draw of playing the red-hot Bengals. Joe Burrow and company are able to outduel Houston in what has the potential to be a high-scoring game.
