BOYS SOCCER

Division I

Lincoln 3, Portsmouth 2

The Lions got goals from Luciano Delgado, Dominic Fernandes and Anthony Parisi, assisted by Ryan Fraize in this Division I matchup. Patriots goals were by Will Kitzmiller and Kyle Bielawa, with assists from Aidan Chen and Tyler Both. In net, Adrien Paternina made 5 saves for Lincoln; Sean Wilkey had 6 for Portsmouth.

Division II

Westerly 2, Chariho 0

Tommy Sperluca and Max Celico each scored a goal and goaltender Chase Wycall stopped all 7 shots he faced as the Bulldogs blanked the Chargers.

Division IV

Davies 5, Rogers 2

Alessandro Sanchez led the Patriots with 3 goals, with Mathew Restrepo and Santiago Giraldo scored as well to seal the win. For the Vikings, Brian Lopez scored and played a strong game and James Largy scored the second in the no-quit Rogers team.

Cumberland 1, Mt. Hope 0

The Clippers' Mason Moreira scored midway through the second half and that would be the only goal of the game as Cumberland edged the Huskies.

GIRLS SOCCER

Division III

Narragansett 4, Exeter/W. Greenwich 1

Maya DeAngelis scored a hat trick and Julia Cox had a goal and an assist as the Mariners improved their record 2-0-2 with a victory over the Scarlet Knights. Also contributing to the win, were Julianne Harris and Bella Radom, with an assist each and netminder Grace Blessing, who collected 5 saves. Emma Mears had the lone goal for EWG.

Tiverton 5, Cranston East 4

The Tigers were led by Kaylee Gorman who scored twice to help Tiverton notch its first win of the season. Other Tiverton goals came from Sara PolandJuleighani Soto and Jenna DelDeo. The Thunderbolts got goals from Madisen GalloIsabella AcevedoVictoria Acevedo and Macy Barron. In net, Addaline Messenger had 11 saves for Tiverton; Isabella Dupret had 5 saves for East.

Westerly 5, Classical 0

Brynn Maynard scored 3 goals and Ocean Lombard scored 2 as the Bulldogs blanked the Purple in Division III action. Kate Raffertry, Calla Bruna and Danica Jarrett each had an assist. In goal, Vittoria Illiano made 5 saves for Westerly, and Yuridia Gamarro Perez, had 9 for Classical.

Division I

Portsmouth 3, Coventry 0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-18); JV - P, 2-0.

Addie Crisfield recorded 4 kills, 2 aces, 2 blocks and 1 dig), Mila Abedon was good for 4 aces, 5 digs and 4 assists and Danielle Bannister had 2 kills and 2 digs inleading the Patriots to victory over the Knotty Oakers in a Division I Crossover.

Chariho 3, La Salle 2 (25-20, 25-22, 15-25, 12-25, 15-9)

Chariho's Alexis Cole had 35 assists, and 19 digs; Elle Clark had 10 kills, 4 blocks and Jules White had 14 kills, 6 aces, 16 digs in the Division I victory.

Classical 3, Prout 1 (16-25, 25-7, 25-13, 25-19); JV - P, 2-0.

Taliyah Pereira finished with 9 kills, 12 digs, and 7 aces, Doris Chatto added 9 kills and a block and Deana Baez finished with 18 assists, 6 digs, and 2 aces in Classical's victory over Prout. Paige Megley had 4 kills and 2 blocks and teammate Jett Cronin had 2 aces and 8 digs for the Crusaders in the loss.

South Kingstown 3, Mount St. Charles 1 (25-16, 15-25, 25-22, 25-17)

For the Rebels, Mia Iemma had 21 digs and 3 aces, Sierra Thompson had 3 kills, 5 blocks and Karmen Lambert recorded 3 aces 15 digs 10 kills. For the Mounties, Sophia Baeta had 20 digs and 2 aces, and Maggie Ray had 8 kills and 8 digs in the loss.

Division II

Mt. Hope 3, Ponaganset 1 (25-8, 20-25, 25-11, 25-8)

The Huskies' Mia Shaw had 9 kills, 11 digs and a whopping 27 assists in the Division II victory. Mt. Hope teammates Sarah Wilcox had 8 digs, 8 kills and 4 aces, Grace Gerhard had 8 kills and 3 aces, and Leah Marshall had 4 kills and 6 aces. For the Chieftains, Alayna Gordon had 2 blocks and 1 ace, Madyson Gonsalves had 2 kills and 2 blocks and Ava DiFiore had 3 kills, 10 assists and an ace.

North Smithfield 3, St. Raphael 1

The Northmen were led by Samantha Thibeault's 9 kills, and Mackenzie Marcoux's3 kills and 4 aces in this Division II showdown. For the Saints, Ava Hill recorded 13 kills and 2 blocks and Morgan Fontaine had 19 digs in the loss.

Lincoln 3, Pilgrim 0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-23)

The play of Casey Weaver (9 kills, 2 aces), Brianna Bilodeau (22 digs, 2 aces) and Ameena Starr (4 aces, 14 aissists) helped the Lions upend the Patriots. For Pilgrim, Kayli Sherlock recorded 8 kills and 3 aces and Shannon Weaver had 6 kills in the loss.

Westerly 3, Rogers 0

Riley Peloquin's 11 kills, Emma Caracciolo's 7 aces and 5 digs and Lyla Auth's 12 digs, 17 assists and 3 aces would pave the way for the Bulldogs win over the Vikings. Erica Rodriguez had 3 kills, 4 digs and an ace for Rogers in the loss.

Cumberland 3, Bay View 2 (18-25,14-25,25-18, 25-23, 15-9)

The Clippers were on the brink of their first league loss of the season, but rallied back from an 0-2 deficit to win three straight games against the Bengals in their Div. II matchup. For Cumberland, Bridget O’Sullivan and Grace Iannuzzi each recorded 14 kills in the victory. For Bay View, Avery Gomes had 17 kills and 9 aces, Jackie Buffery had 9 kills and 4 aces and Gianna Paolino had 42 assists and a pair of aces in the loss.

Barrington 3, Cranston West 0 (25-21, 25-12, 18-25, 25-11); JV - CW, 2-0.

The Eagles' Kasey Dillon had 13 kills, 5 aces and 10 digs, Emma McCrann recorded 9 kills, 5 aces and 14 digs, and Sophia Denham had 5 kills, 25 assists and 10 digs in the win. For the Falcons, Olivia Venagro had 6 kills,19 assists and 5 digs

Exeter/West Greenwich 3, Johnston 0 (25-22, 25-18, 26-24)

The solid play of Kealyn Pearson (13 digs, 6 assists, 4 aces) and Isabella McCoombs (13 digs, 6 kills) helped the Scarlet Knights gain the win over the Panthers.
