High school football photo gallery: Scenes from opening day

The 2023 high school football season dawned on Monday, July 31, and we sent photographer Bobby Goddin out to record images from the first day of practice for the three Monroe County schools.

The timing was right to catch Bloomington South in the late afternoon, Edgewood in the early evening and then finally Bloomington North after the sun fell on Day 1.
