Here's who won the Ozarks' high school baseball playoff games on Monday night

Springfield-area high school baseball teams took another step toward the state semifinals by winning sectionals and districts on Monday evening to advance to the quarterfinal rounds later in the week.

Here's what happened Monday:

Greenwood 12, Oak Ridge 5

Class 1 sectional

In its second season as a varsity program, Greenwood is a win away from the Class 1 state semifinals after a dominant performance over Oak Ridge. Junior first baseman Chance Rose finished the game 2 for 3 with a home run and four RBI. The Bluejays will play the No. 1 team in Class 1 after Cooter's 2-1 win in nine innings against Oran.

Liberal 4, Billings 3

Class 1 sectional

Liberal upset Billings in a state sectional matchup that sent the No. 6 team in Class 1 home. The Wildcats' season ends at 21-6 and with their third-straight district title. Liberal will look to continue its upset streak by hosting No. 2 St. Elizabeth for a trip to the state semifinals.

Next up: vs. St. Elizabeth on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Liberal

Ash Grove 13, Marionville 0

Class 2 sectional

The No. 1 team in the state continued to look the part in a dominant performance against Marionville. Now 22-0, the Pirates have cruised through postseason play by winning by eight or more runs in each of their three outings. They have now scored 10 or more runs in 11 of their last 15 games. The Pirates will now play the No. 3-ranked, Iberia, in Ash Grove on Wednesday for their first trip to the state semifinals since finishing as a runner-up in 1992.

Glendale 2, Willard 0

Class 5 district championship

Glendale junior lefty Drew Wedgeworth threw a no-hitter to lead Glendale past Willard in the Class 5, District 6 championship. The Falcons had lost to Willard in the postseason in each of the previous three years. Sophomore star Sebastian Norman provided Glendale with both of its runs with one swing of the bat in the third when he put a home run over the left-field wall. Glendale, now the highest-ranked remaining team in Class 5, will travel to St. Francis Borgia on Saturday in quarterfinal action.
