Here's how Twitter reacted after Texas Tech basketball beat the Kansas Jayhawks 75-67
Despite missing its two leading scorers, the Texas Tech men's basketball team defeated the No. 6-ranked Kansas Jayhawks 75-67 Saturday at United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock.
The Red Raiders were without top players Terrence Shannon, Jr. and Kevin McCullar, who was sidelined for his second straight game and wore a walking boot on his right foot.
In their absence, Clarence Nadolny and Bryson Williams stepped up and combined for 39 points to power the 25th-ranked Texas Tech basketball team over the Jayhawks.
Tech was also short-handed in its previous game — only seven basketball players were available to compete as the team lost 51-47 against Iowa State Wednesday.
Next up, the Red Raiders travel to Waco as they prepare to face Baylor Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Here's how Twitter users reacted to Tech's big win.

KU vs. Texas Tech basketball: Nadolny, Williams combined for 39 to help No. 25 Red Raiders down No. 6 Kansas
Kansas/Texas Tech has been great so far. The amount of great defense being played only gives us great offensive shot making. Texas Tech is hanging in short-handed.

Kansas still down 7 at Texas Tech with 5 minutes to play. Red Raiders playing without their top two scorers. Because college basketball.
