Here's the Rockford Register Star high school sports Athlete of the Week for Jan. 15-20

Orangeville's Whitney Sullivan earned the Rockford Register Star high school sports Athlete of the Week for Jan. 15-20 after another big week for Orangeville athletes in our poll.

The 6-3 Tulsa recruit, Sullivan, had 30 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots and three 3-pointers to lead No. 2-ranked Orangeville to a 58-54 win over No. 8 Freeport Aquin. Then she earned 1,280 votes, which was 43 percent of the total votes.

Orangeville's Laney Cahoon earned the Rockford Register Star high school sports Athlete of the Week for Jan. 8-13, and she earned 1,936 votes.

The rest of the nominees were: Scales Mound's Thomas Hereau; Byron's Kyle Jones; Boylan's Lily Esparza; Rochelle's Cammyla Macias; Byron's Macy Groharing; Hononegah's Brody Sendele; Pecatonica's Mason Peterson; and Harlem's Devin Titus.
