Heisman winner Jayden Daniels declares for the 2024 NFL draft

It has been one heck of a season for LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels. After putting up one of the most impressive seasons by a quarterback in recent memory Daniels took home the Heisman trophy, and now has decided to take his talent to the next level by declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Daniels set the college football world ablaze with a dominant stretch over the course of his second season with the Tigers. With an eye-popping 50 total touchdowns, 1,134 rushing yards, and a quarterback rating of 208.0, Daniels was clearly the top quarterback across the country.

While Daniels possibly won’t end up being selected with the first overall pick given Caleb Williams and Drake Maye should be available, it would be malpractice to ignore the incredible production and growth he has put together this season. With an excellent deep ball, top tier processing ability, and rushing skills mirroring the likes of Lamar Jackson, Daniels should undoubtedly hear his name called in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
