GV Art+ Design wastes little time immortalizing Jose Ramirez, Tom Hamilton fight moment

Northeast Ohioans knew the moment Guardians play-by-play announcer Tom Hamilton teed up his call: “Down Goes Anderson! Down Goes Anderson!” the T-shirt immortalizing the skirmish between Jose Ramirez and the Chicago White Sox’s Tim Anderson would hit store shelves with record haste.

GV Art+ Design, one of the purveyors of all things in Cleveland tees, delivered. While the call is based on legendary sportscaster Howard Cosell’s “Down goes Frazier! Down goes Frazier!” the T-shirt is a riff upon the iconic Muhammad Ali photo of The Greatest towering over a defeated Sonny Liston in a rematch of a heavyweight boxing match, with the shirt featuring Ramirez standing over the Chicago White Sox’s Tim Anderson in a similar pose.

The shirt is availabe for $30.
