WARRIORS WIN

Karlyn Denny stuffed the stat sheet for the Warriors with 10 kills, nine aces and six assists while Ella Peach dished out a team-high 10 assists. Kristen Abbott added a team-high 11 digs and six aces.

"Our serving has exponentially gotten better over the last week," CAI coach Chrissy Millen said. "It has been one of the skills we have excelled at and over the course of our last four matches we have darn near 100 team aces, including 27 (Tuesday) night. The best part about it is that we are getting contributions from all of our servers. Defensively at the net we were aggressive and kept a lot of balls on their side of the net when we needed to. (Tuesday) night was a good finish to our regular season and now it is time to prepare for sectionals."

The Warriors (20-9), who have won four in a row, will await the winner between Rock Creek and West Washington in a semifinal of the Class A Christian Academy Sectional on Oct. 14.
