The Colts would manage to pull away from the Hornets in two different stretches of the game to earn the final 45-34 victory, bringing home the Dial-a-Ride trophy for the sixth season in a row.

A few timely 3s for the Hornets, including two from senior Rylee Miller and two from senior Karsyn Stebbins helped spark the Hornet offense at times in the game. However, the Colts were able to get to the basket on most of their final offensive possessions in the fourth quarter, led by senior Lydia Jackson earning six points in the fourth quarter alone.

Leading the way for the Colts was senior Ava King, who posted a double-double effort of 22 points and 14 rebounds. The senior also had seven steals. Jackson contributed six points, one rebound and four assists. Senior Iris Millies had five points. Senior Angela Alvarez had four points and six rebounds. Ella Walton had three points and eight rebounds. Darby Horsfall had five points.
