Gigi Hadid just got candid about her relationship with her body, and how as she's gotten older, she's become less strict with herself. The 27-year-old mum of one, who is one of *the* most famous supermodels in the world, has been in the industry for almost 10 years.

At just 18, she made her runway debut at the Desigual Fall 2014 show, and since then, has worked with a plethora of big names, including Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's Secret, Fendi, and Versace, just to name a few.

Her younger sister, Bella, is also a big name in the modelling industry, as is their mother, Yolanda Hadid, who has been a driving force in the sisters' careers.

But in the past, comments have been made about Yolanda - who appeared in three seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - instilling an unhealthy relationship with food in her daughters.

However, the mum-of-three has since shut down this narrative, explaining that the viral conversation has been taken out of context.

But in a recent interview with The Times, Gigi opened up about her insecurities, her past relationship with her body and how she used to be "very routined" with her diet.

"I was probably harder on my body than I should have been," the model admitted, adding: "I wasn’t starving myself but I was very routined."

"Since then I’ve got into this idea of body neutrality. I love my body for what it has done but I’m not obsessed with it," she explained.

On the subject of appearance, she revealed that she doesn't think she's the "prettiest person in the world."

"Some Botox could probably help," she said, "but I’m not so obsessed with caring that I want to do anything about it."
