Giants’ Kadarius Toney released new music video, ‘Play With Me’

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney, also known by the rap name “Yung Joka,” officially announced the release of his new music video on Monday.

“Play With Me” is the first new music video release from Toney in 11 months.

The video, which is not safe for work, generally shies away from NFL life or Toney’s time as a Giant. However, there is one lyric that is undeniably specific to his day job.

“I’m about to keep declining all these interviews.”

Toney, of course, has gotten off to a rocky start in the NFL due to injuries, personal tragedy and a rollercoaster relationship with the media. That manifested itself last year after Toney referred to the team’s beat pool as “clowns” before later apologizing.

That frustration lingered through the rest of Toney’s rookie season but never escalated further. However, things got off on a similar foot this year after Toney skipped the early part of the team’s offseason workout program amid trade rumors.

Since then, Toney has been a regular around the team’s East Rutherford facilities and has drawn praise from general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll alike.
