Giants injury report: Jabrill Peppers returns to practice

The New York Giants returned to practice on Wednesday ahead of a Week 5 game against the Dallas Cowboys and all eyes were on safety Jabrill Peppers.

Peppers missed a Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams as a result of a low ankle sprain suffered a week earlier, but was on the field during the team’s first practice (see: walkthrough) of the week.

That is good news for the Giants, who are dealing with injury issues at the position. Rookie safety Xavier McKinney remains on injured reserve with a foot injury, while Julian Love (knee/ankle) and Adrian Colbert (neck) continue dealing with injuries of their own.

Meanwhile, linebackers Oshane Ximines (shoulder) and Kyler Fackrell (neck) were added to the injury report.

Here’s the full official report from the Giants:

Did not participate: LB Oshane Ximines (shoulder)

Limited participation: Jabrill Peppers (ankle), DB Adrian Colbert (neck) and LB Kyler Fackrell (neck)

Full participation: N/A
