Giants Edged by Cowboys, 31-28
Eli Manning had a big night through the air, but it wasn't enough to avoid a surprisingly close loss for the Giants against the Cowboys, 31-28, at home.
Manning found the end zone three times on 29 of 40 passing for 338 yards and one pick. Tony Romo also played quite well, and wound up 18 for 26 with 275 yards passing, four touchdowns and one fumble.
Rashad Jennings ran for 52 yards on 19 carries in addition to eight receptions for 68 yards. Odell Beckham Jr. was a top performer, snagging 10 passes for 146 yards with two touchdowns.
The New York defense gave up 119 yards rushing and 275 passing. They sacked Romo two times.
Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant had a big game, putting up 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Running back DeMarco Murray also performed well with 121 rushing yards and 22 receiving.
The Giants travel to Jacksonville next week to meet the Jaguars (1-10) while the Cowboys are at home to take on the Eagles (8-3).
