What Georgia football's Sedrick Van Pran said about Neyland Stadium, 'Real Talk Georgia'

NASHVILLE − Georgia offensive lineman Tate Ratledge raised some eyebrows when he said Tennessee football's Neyland Stadium was the best place to play in the SEC.

Yes. He said Neyland Stadium during a segment of "Real Talk Georgia." Not Georgia's Sanford Stadium.

Georgia offensive lineman Sedrick Van Pran had a different take than Ratledge at SEC Media Days on Tuesday in Nashville. The Bulldogs play the Vols on Nov. 18 at Neyland Stadium.

"I think it'll be a great environment along with all of the other places in the SEC. I think it is a very unique place and it'll be fun to play in. Ultimately I think it'll be a tough place to play in and the same regards as it is everywhere in the SEC," Van Pran said.

"Real Talk Georgia" is a podcast that Ratledge and defensive lineman Zion Logue started, but they have brought on many teammates like Van Pran to give their takes.

Van Pran's favorite part? The locker room talk.

"I think it's cool just for the aspect where it would have sports talk somewhere other than the locker room talk that we talk like obviously, we can't just let everything out but it's a way for us to kind of show who we are outside of the football field and with the helmet off so I think it's a great platform," Van Pran said.

Other than being able to just sit and chat with teammates, it has created a different kind of platform for athletes.

"I think that it's definitely something that's good for college football and allows guys to definitely put themselves out there so I look forward to doing it more," Van Pran said.
